Enterprise 2000 was conceived by Leone and Rod D'Ott in 1987 as a vehicle to assist people to become proficient in activities which will ensure long term success. Together, Leone and Rod have many years experience and insight in the way organisations function. They spent many years immersed in personal development and business courses to supplement their practical business experience. Both are registered International Badminton Umpires and have officiated at both the Christchurch and Auckland Commonwealth Games. Both have umpired live on TV during International Badminton fixtures at the Badminton Hall, Gillies Ave in Auckland. Lea has played at provincial representative level. They have two sons who both work in companies at advanced and specialist computer levels. Both Leone and Rod can interact with ease at all levels within a workplace or with any culture.
Leone brings a multitude of skills and experience to Enterprise 2000 and its clients. She has superb leadership and management skills and a wealth of experience in financial management, office management and administration and real estate sales. She is especially skilled in purchasing and maintaining stock at realistic levels and has experience in shipping, export and import. She is computer literate being skilled in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and a variety of financial packages. Lea has held every position in the work place from Office junior to Chief Executive Officer.
Rod (Rodney) gained much of his experience and training as an MTS&O in the RNZAF and covered mechanical engineering, electronics, leadership, management, teaching, industrial safety and inventory control. He also pursues a continuing personal training regime, as does Leone. These studies have included short university courses, polytechnic courses and specialist courses through private training establishments. The subjects he covered are the psychology of work, leadership and advanced management principles, personnel management, financial management and computing. Over twenty-five of his working years has been spent in training, as a tutor and in training management. Rod is especially skilled in developing management and administration systems, manuals of operation that incorporate the company strategy, training manuals and training aids such as Technical DVDs. His teaching includes management and leadership, success motivation, computers and engineering. Rod has held every position in the workplace from the shop floor to Chief Executive Officer.
